“Crossing Fences” and Connecting Lives

“Crossing Fences” is an oral history program connecting generations of African-American boys and men as mentors within their communities, as well as teaching the teens audio creation skills and goal achievement.  The session the week of July 27 was in Braddock, near Pittsburgh, PA.

Emma PauliniEmma Paulini is a junior at Fox Chapel Area High School. She is on the Senior Staff of her school’s literary arts magazine, is published in the Ralph Munn Creative Writing Anthology, and has received Scholastic Art and Writing Awards.  Emma also enjoys dancing, cooking, and exploring the world.
