I’m very excited to write for Pittsburgh Youth Media this summer! I am looking forward to attending and reporting on some of the events happening around the city, enjoying the action and gaining experience as a youth reporter. Joining PYM is a wonderful opportunity to meet other journalism enthusiasts and share my voice with the community. I can’t wait to dive into an exciting summer of reporting!

Grace Doerfler is a junior at Oakland Catholic High School from West View. This is her second year reporting for PYM. She is an editor for her school newspaper, and in her spare time she enjoys running cross- country and playing the oboe.
