I’m a rising freshmen at Trinity Christian School and a new member of the student council. As a Youth Media Reporter I’m excited to learn more about my school and its impact on the community. My church home, Macedonia Baptist Church, conducts a wide variety of community events. Previously, I participated in church-wide events such as Community Day and the Prayer Walk, and I also attend church productions. Through this program I would like to strengthen my writing abilities, learn to pay closer attention to detail,and learn to present myself correctly in a workplace setting. I’m extremely excited to learn more about my community and develop a firm awareness of the world around me.

Katrice is a rising ninth grader at Trinity Christian School. She resides in Penn Hills. Katrice participated in a writing workshop at Luminar; as a reward for competing in an essay competition. She participated in Western Pennsylvania Writing Project the past 3 years, she plays basketball, runs track, and enjoys reading.
