I’m excited to be a Pittsburgh Youth Media reporter this summer! I love learning about events in and around our city and spreading the news of these happenings. Working with and making connections with others from across the area, including the teen reporters, mentors, and those we meet while covering a story, is meaningful and gives a big-picture, interconnected perspective. It is amazing to have this opportunity to share our voices as youth reporters.
Emma Paulini is a senior at Fox Chapel Area High School. She is Editor in Chief of her school’s literary arts magazine, and this is her second summer reporting with Pittsburgh Youth Media. Emma loves to dance ballet, sing, cook, and explore the world.
