I absolutely love to make things. There’s just something appealing about a DIY project, even if it never looks like those perfect pictures on Pintrest. Above anything, I love cooking and baking. Whether it’s making chocolate chip cookies or baking zucchini bread. I especially love baking anything pumpkin. Now that it’s officially fall, I actually have a viable excuse to bake a trillion pumpkin-related desserts. So far, I’ve already used up a full 22-ounce can of pureed pumpkin, and I can only imagine that amount dramatically increasing in the coming days. I’ve made pumpkin cookies twice already, and delicious Chinese pumpkin pancakes. It’s gotten to the point where my mom literally needs to bar me from the kitchen (although I can understand, as she is the one cleaning up the mess most of the time). There’s just something about pumpkin that I love so much, and the amount of special-edition pumpkin flavored products is definitely one of the highlights of fall. Regardless though, no Starbucks Pumpkin-Spiced Latte will ever trump the deliciousness of some homemade pumpkin cookies.
