Meet Sienna

By Sienna Rodriguez-12 Grade, Pa Distance Cyber Charter School

For me, the news is something that should be written for the people, by the people.  To relay honest news and be the voice of those who don’t have the opportunity to speak is why I aspire to become a youth reporter. Youth do not have the leisure to voice their opinions on certain topics because of this stigma that is attached to teens these days. To be able to use such a platform to be the voice of several people within my age range is something I am honored to do. I want to be able to produce credible news and not filter what needs to be heard. In days to come I hope to share stories that are relatable, relevant, and raw. Together we can change the way the world perceives millennials and make a positive impact on Pittsburgh’s youth.

Sienna Rodriguez is a 12th grader at PA Distance Cyber Charter School and she lives in Jeanette, Pennsylvania.
